Guided tour of the Palace of Westminster personally hosted by Chris Philps MP. Combined outing with Purley Probus. Tour commences at 5.15 pm and lasts approx 90 minutes. Open to all members and partners. Max number possible is 35.

A visit to the Postal Museum in London's Farringdon district for members, their partners and friends and which includes a 15 minute ride on the miniature underground Mail Rail, (an underground train originally built 100 years ago to transport mail from London's Paddington Station to Whitechapel in East London). Arrive by 10.45 am latest.

A talk by Adrian Curtis on the history of Croydon and its interesting characters using street and place names.

5th October 2022

A talk presented by Sara Slater, (Guide Lecturer, Hampton Court Palace) in period dress and entitled "Secrets, Sex, Scandal and Salacious Gossip of the Royal Court, 1660 to 1830"

25h October 2022 OUTING

A fascinating guided tour of the historical Old Palace School in Croydon for members their partners and friends. The tour starts at 2pm and lasts about 2 hours with a break for tea and biscuits.
